There are times when you’ll want to lasso the sun just to extend the day,
If only for a little longer
I’ll stay up later than I often would do to claim today as mine,
The only thing that I can conquer
After having a rough day like this,
A warm room, my favorite show, and a snack brings me bliss
A cup of decaf with some cinnamon to go with my treat
I’m skipping straight to dessert and there is nothing that can stop me
A perfect blend of sour and sweet
Some zesty glaze on top makes it complete
When the day has thrown more at you than you can take
There’s nothing like a piece of cloudy lemon cake
I want to just inhale this sweet and sour flavor
but this dessert deserves a good, hefty lengthy savor
This is the best thing to happen today, i know that’s not saying much, But it’s the only thing that went my way
Ice cold milk will wash it down real nice
You know what else is nice? Oh, I think another slice, yeah
If the glaze was in a pool, I’d be quite the swimmer
No one can tell me I can have dessert for dinner

Awesome album from start to finish. PW's destinctive style is present throughout, but every track is a fresh effort, and the album successfully transitions from driving rock to mellow contemplation without sounding forced or rehashed. I'm not as big of a fan of the remixes, but I appreciate their inclusion and unique perspective. Hard to ask for more than 16 tracks with no skips!
